School Gym

THE vision of building dreams for budding young athletes is the catalyst
behind the establishment of the Selborne College Fitness Centre in East London.

A large gathering, including parents and schoolboys, attended the official
opening at the school of the impressive facility in East London’s Dawson Road.
Selborne College’s headmaster Sam Gunn said in his opening speech the concept
of a high performance centre for the school took ten years of planning.

He said he was confident the centre would produce athletes from the school,
who would have the advantage of being stronger and fitter than their counterparts
at other schools.

Physiotherapy and rehabilitation sections have also been included in the
fitness centre’s programme.
